I3 has had to be collected after a very loud rattle coming from the REX when under load and a air bag warning light coming on, anyone else had these problems.

The ReX is a generator and isn't subject to varying load from driving the car. It idles at 2400rpm for six minutes then goes to 3600rpm and 20kW. If battery SOC is very low then it will run to 4300 and 23.3kW but it's dependent on battery not driving conditions.

no Unfortunately this is not the normal sound that it has been making over the last year this is like the sound of something wrong almost as loud as a blown exhaust

Back from BMW it was the heat shield it had come lose and fallen.
