Whats the best lease deal ever?

My deal, 5k out of pocket, 1050 security deposit, 2500 California rebate, $128 monthly, 30 months, 10k, laurel gray, BEV, MEGA, TECH.

Granted my model is bare bone. Just curious to find out if anyone has done better.

Not sure if this was a great deal but I'll post my details:
$4500 down, $289 a month 12k miles Giga with every option ($52k MSRP).

2105 BEV, Laurel Grey, Parking, 20" wheels.

$7700 trade in of VW TDI (nobody would buy the disgraced diesel so I was happy to trade it), $2300 down.

$51/month on a 36/15,000 lease plus I get the $2500 from CA.

I normally would not buy down a lease with a car up front but in the case of the TDI it seemed like the easiest way to get rid of it.

I bought (using owners choice, so its pretty much a lease) a base (only heated seats) model 2014 BEV used as a demo for $1500 down and $200/month for 24 months, 10K miles per year. State rebate was $2500.

Overall out of pocket for two years is ~$160/month.

Subtract out gas and estimated ongoing repairs on the dying subaru I sold puts me at about $0/month to drive it for two years (or even net positive. that subaru was a money pit in repairs and had cost me about $150/month the years I owned it after warranty)

Plus carmax missed the ball on evaluating my dying subaru and gave me $4k for it.

55K MSRP , 235/mth (that's including taxes) 30 month lease. After all is said and done, total 30 month cost net of rebates and MSD = $7300.

We should be calculating the total net lease cost as a better comparison.

No, not in California. Also, not a lease, but "owners choice".

MSRP Loaded Rex $55,000 MSRP. $1,200 out of pocket included 1st moth 2 Year 12k Per year. $400 per month including Taxes. For Apple to Apple comparison you should figure every $1000 put down towards principle should lower the payment by about $30. Furthermore, understand that some states rebates are available on leasing too. Here in PA the state incentive is only on purchase. So we only have the $7,500 Fed credit like everyone else. Assume everyone else gets that to. So when you look at a payment figure first month and throw reset against principle reduction at about $30 per $1,000 and add in the state incentive if any as part of the principle.

So for instance, were paying $400 per month including tax with 12k Per year $800 into principle on 55k MSRP.

Someone who is paying $200 per month on same milage with same car but puts 5k into principle and gets a 2k state incentive for that lease is pretty much getting the same deal.

The deals now as BMW are clearing out 2015 stock are incredible. Although I will wait until I take delivery of the vehicle to post my deal, I will end up paying less for the entire cost of the lease than some people here paid as a down payment.

No sales tax since my traded in equity covered more than the entire price of the lease.

($3K state incentive, $1K Ultimate drive credit (or Olympic credit?), $500 BMWCCA credit)

I'm probably going to go over on the miles, but the extras at $0.16 / mile are lower than my built-in lease per mile cost.

I thought the acquisition fee was unavoidable, even with the MSDs. This was a great deal for June 2015.

The MF adder to not pay the acquisition fee is now .00050.

Back when I did my deal it was either .00030 or .00035 (I don't remember which). Saved me about $75 on the total cost (~$3 a month on average).

That's actually a really good deal for a 2016 until they clear them out more vigorously, which might not be for another year.

Hopefully around January. My owners choice balloon is due then, and I snicker at the idea of paying $35000(-$7500 for the federal tax rebate I get to keep rather than surrender along with the car) for a two year old car base model car. They'd have to seriously revise the loan for me to keep it when lease options like this are available. Even financing that balloon for 5 years, that's at least $450/month.

Isn't the $7,500 a float that you have to pay back to BMWFS by the OC w/Flex maturity date? What do you mean by "keep"?

If I keep the car, I pay the balloon($35000), but keep the $7500 the federal government gave me.

If I return the car, I give them the car and $7500.
