I think this is why a hate BMW. They make what could be a very easy job into a neigh pain in the arse one. Access to the anti roll bar bushes is nice and easy, but the buggers decided to attach the bush to the bar!!! I've never seen this in a car before, but it has meant I've had to buy a whole new bar with the bushes attached. The next fun thing is getting the bar out, it looks to be surrounded by ancillary equipment so i am asking if anyone else has already removed one and can advise?

I noticed that when looking through the parts lists - can't get the bushes without buying a whole new anti-roll bar! If I have to do the job, I would be tempted to cut an old one off, measure it up and see if an aftermarket supplier had something the right size. With poly bushes, you can typically get away with an angled cut around the bush - many are supplied that way.

Sorry, that doesn't answer your question!
