After 40+ nonevs since age 16, my first EV was a 2013 used Tesla Model S. Over a two year period of delightful driving my repair costs were equal to my original purchase price. Tesla Service Stations donot discuss why parts fail only that they have. Do not repair only replace. Hard for a car nut like me to accept, I've pulled engines, repaired trannies, and modified most everything, but it is what it is. Now on my second i3 a 2021 BEV , black and white so "Copcar", first was a 2015 REX orange "Pumpkin". Great cars especially living on a island where you can't drive 50 miles in a straight line without getting wet. Range? Not currently that important.
