I was particularly interested in the cooling tubes. The holes look really small like 2-3mm. Am I seeing that right?
If so, that might explain why shrapnel from an imploded heat pump compressor could become lodged in these tubes blocking refrigerant flow. The refrigerant should be in its gaseous state in these tubes, so they wouldn't have to be very large for flow to be sufficient.

Yes, that makes sense the overall width of the strip is also very small. I was just shocked as I've only seen the entire unit handled in a video before seeing the Munroe video.
