How to Open Top of Center Console

I bought a 2014 REX used a few weeks ago. It sounds like some change is stuck in the center console (the arm that goes up and down that you rest your elbow on). I'm told that if change is left inside the arm, that it will end up inside the bottom of the console arm the moment you lift it up. Does anyone know how to remove the offending change?

You can open the console compartment. There is a release on the front of the arm right below where your fingers naturally fall when resting your arm.

Yes, I know about that. It is the bottom of that compartment that I'm asking about. Is there an easy way to open the bottom so I can get the change out?
