Does upgrading i-level also upgrades NBTevo Rev letter?

I3 120Ah out of factory at feb2020. Head unit is NBTevo revision S. I dont know which i-level/i-step the car is.
Will upgrading the i-level also upgrade NBTevo revision to latest ?
