We already know no m sport. Also think BMW will give all new names for the i3. I think there is a clue in a BMW magazine I read, it refers to lounge like interior. So could Lounge be one of the names??

Lets hope they haven't used Fiat for their inspiration - Active, Lounge, Sport + Diesel (as in the Jeans manufacturer!)

To be honest I've not been able to get my head round BMW's recent trim levels here in the UK

ES, SE, Sport, !!Modern!!, Luxury, M Sport...... Just TOO many!

It should just be SE, Sport & M Sport and then option packs.

I am intrigued by the idea of Themes - but at the moment I think I'll pass on the Star Trek / iphone Blue seat belt / White trim option.

Chevrolet has just dropped the White trim from the Volt so I don't think it was that popular.

I wonder if any of the options will be Aluminium or Raw Carbon Fibre (instead of wood) across the dashboard.

Looking forward to all the permutations and combinations.

heard trim levels might be called Loft, Lodge and Lounge, but might just be internal names BMW has used during project

Has a nice ring to it - I understand there are 4 themed "Worlds" so not sure which of these is the Blue Seatbelt / White trim one ...... Loft maybe ........or another name beginning with L - Launch perhaps.

Lodge is intriguing - do you think that has a Real Oak floor, Chesterfield trim and Reindeer Antlers?

Car Magazine ........."Inside there are four trim levels: 'Standard' is the basic spec, then there's 'Loft' and 'Lodge', and the top-spec 'Suite'. All cabins get wood trim from sustainably managed forests, and naturally tanned leather (not sure that's true). The central iDrive screen is commanded by a touch-sensitive rotary controller, and there’s a chunky column-mounted drive selector."

It looks like the US gets different names - maybe different equipment too.

From Automotive news......

"3 trim levels

BMW said today it will offer the i3 in three different trim levels: Mega World, Giga World and Tera World. Pricing was not disclosed.

The base Mega World has standard 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, navigation, BMW's ConnectedDrive infotainment system, the eCall collision notification system, an alarm, a 7.4 kW on board charger and LED headlights and tail lights. The cloth interior is made from recycled materials.

The Giga World package adds upgraded wheels, a leather wrapped steering wheeling and wool cloth. It has a garage door opener, sunroof and satellite radio.

The range-topping Tera World also adds a leather interior, ConnectedDrive and other driver assistance systems as standard.

The Driving Assistant Plus safety system is optional. It has a Collision Warning system that primes the brakes and can stop the car at speeds up to 35 mph to help avoid an accident. The package includes active cruise control and a stop and start feature.

The parking assistant feature is also optional."
