Couldn't find any real info re: the hard drive size in the '15 i3.

And can I just plug in a thumb drive and it will ask me to transfer? I'm assuming mp3 and m4a will play ok? thanks

wow. that's great! Do you know how big the internal hard drive is?

And is there a difference in sound qualtiy btw bluetooth, connected phone, vs. hard drive? (I have regular sound)

It may be different depending on which nav system or stereo you have...don't remember for sure. I'm not usually in the car all that long, and listen to NPR most of the time. If I had a longer commute (I'm retired), that might be different.

Mine has a 20 GB drive, which I don't think is large enough. I'm using a 128 GB low profile thumb drive to play music from. A low profile stick is nice so it doesn't get broken when you put things in the storage area.

You can just copy the music folders from your computer to a thumb drive. As long as you have the album artwork imported in iTunes, it should copy that over as well. Most of my music shows the artwork.

Thanks! This is working great.

And I actually don't hear any diff btw playing m4a files via Bluetooth, hard drive or plugged in iPhone. In my '12 x3, Bluetooth was way better.
