I am really getting used to the Single pedal driving, or as my wife calls it disney driving

My question...When the i3 is decelerating, do the brake lights come on?

I drive in LA traffic and want to give my fellow cars every opportunity not to rear end me.

When you decelerate because of re-gen to a certain level (someone observed it when the re-gen reaches the wording on the regen bar), the brake light will automatically come on.

In summary, they act appropriately and don't give off an "over-braking" / brake tapper vibe.
