Rear Camera not working

Hello all,
We have a 2015 i3 and the rear camera stopped working. We just get a blank screen when the car is in reverse. I've check the rear hatch to make sure it was closed (and it is). This has been happening for 6 months now. Any ideas on troubleshooting or fuses to check? TIA

I have the same thing on a 14 I am buying. Carmax sent it to dealer, dealer says it's aftermarket? Still looking into it...
