congrat ICZER34. Are you plan to install a 240V charging station from BOSCH? I order i3 through BMW Stevens Creek and the car hasn't begin production (#0607861).

Thank you! I'm looking at some alternative options for charging stations but BOSCH seems to be one of the more popular solutions. I plan to have the charging station installed inside one of our warehouses at the company. I would certainly love a Level 3 charger though lol

Here is an excerpt from a SW Ohio dealer email about incoming allocation. Note that two are Launch Edition Tera's, an LE Giga(?) and one bare bones Mega rEx with only heated seats. This one could be a demo?

Anybody happen to know exactly what the ZIL item really is? Is it actually something tangible or just a code for "fully loaded and not changeable" (or someting like that)?

Just a code for not changeable.....BMW i3 Launch Edition. My dealer here in Virginia is getting 2 Mega REx, 1 Mega BEV, and 1 Giga REx as the initial allocation.

Mike74jcw, what dealer are you working with? Is it the one on Broad Street in Richmond? I have one on order with Midlothian BMW and I cannot get any solid information out of them. The cannot tell me how many they have on allocation. Do you know if the Broad Street BMW has sold all of there allocated i3's?

Todd, I am working with West Broad. I also have one on order, confirmed in the order bank but no build date yet. We stay in touch just about every week and I stop by to check in...i ask them to pull it up on the computer to see for myself. I have purchased 5 new MINIs there and know most of the BMW and MINI staff...

Overall, very few updates/little progress. I know they are getting the Launch Editions I mentioned above plus there are a few build slots (one being mine) over the next 3 or 4 months. Not sure what exactly is spoken for and what else is available. PM me and I can provide contact info if you are interested. Charles (Client Advisor) is monitoring my order daily or at least every other day, will send me the production number once it gets close so I can track it online.

It doesn't seem like they (West Broad) are remotely prepared for the arrival of the I cars. Last time I checked they still hadn't installed charging stations, setup the showroom (supposedly will be where MINI is currently), cleared space, or begun construction on the new MINI showroom...
