Hi all,

Just bought my i3s 33kw rex - 2017 - 95k miles. Thought I would join a community of people who had done similar :) - My car has a couple of niggles but hopefully I will get them sorted over the coming weeks.

TODO

- Fix driver seatbelt warning, wire under the seat is detached
- Fix passenger door cover, come loose from clip
- Fit larger screen, on order
- Look into driver seat comfort - I think the foam is a little collapsed TBD

Over all, a fantastic car given its miles and price! Just done 200 mile round trip on a full charge and £7 of petrol...

Much more fun than I was expecting.

Just watched the excellent Wisely Automotive video about removing all the panels - looks like the door will be an easy fix. It a 2017 car built in August - irritating for the UK as it means I get hit with the road tax, but in the grand scheme it's still going to be a remarkably low cost car I think.

I can't get over how "tight" everything feels for 95k miles. I gave it a deep clean and from the inside you would struggle to tell it wasn't new. Now I know how easy it is to remove panels I am even considering stripping it and having them sanded and clear-coated. It would look pretty immaculate then.

The only thing I am a little disappointed with are the wheels on mine. Not sure I am much of a fan of the style of the alloys and finding out that tires are pricy due to them being fairly unique is a bit frustrating. I haven't swapped the wheels on my car since I was a teenager though so I will see if owning an i3 takes me back to behaviours of my youth - i3 with split rim BBS's!
