New i3 owner in The Netherlands

Hi all,

Since a month or so I'm the proud owner of a 120Ah i3 with leather interior and premium audio, and I'm loving it to bits. As I intend to care very well for this baby, I'm joining this forum to exchange tips. One of the topics I would love to learn more about is how to care well for the battery, as that is currently quite confusing to me. I'll dig around a bit to see if there is more info on that.

If in your photo you also included a Gen 1 Honda Insight with its all aluminum unibody like your A2, you'd have a complete set of recent cars with fairly revolutionary construction. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. However, left hand drive Insights are very rare in Europe.

Congratulations on your lovely new i3. I'm an American who's spent time in the NL and love the country and people. A friend there explained your high tax on vehicles. How is a small electric car is affected by that? I hope the tax is low!

I've had my 2017 REx for a little less than a year. It is great for my needs so far and I hope will remain trouble-free for a long time.

Genieten indeed I didn't look into the tax situation, I just looked at the asking price and my available budget. It fit For sure not cheap, though, although I have the impression (comparing to other offers currently on the market in NL) that I got a good deal, including a set of new tyres.

Good job on the tyres. I bought mine online through Carvana, shipped from another US State, and had to buy it new sneakers right away.
