If you were 52 miles away from home, 5300ft above sea level with just 8 miles remaining in the battery would you be able to make it back if your house was at sea level?

With the same average speed the i3 would habe probably beaten the ActiveE.

I believe you could.

That is a 2% slope.

I am frequently driving one road where I can let the car roll with about 70 km/h, 44 mph for several miles. That has a slope of 2.2%.

I would recemmend the Lake District. Loved to drive the roads there, although that was with a Diesel 25 years ago.
