Just taken delivery of a 2020 ( Sept ) i3 from Car Supermarket. Only one key and MOT advisory of cracked and perished tyres. Before I agreed to purchase it they said that if I did then they would replace the tyres. It arrived with the old tyres!! They never told me about it only having one key, so now I am having to try and get them to rectify the problem. I love the car so don't want to return it, but that is the only weapon that I have unless you know better?

Thanks all,

Patrick

Do you have the promise to replace the tyres in writing; if you do you have leverage, threaten to call the local Trading Standards office if they don't keep their written promise. If you don't, your only option is to return the car, which you should do - because if they lied to you about this one obvious thing, who knows what else they may have withheld from you.
