Hi, guys. After 10 years in the Florida sun, my headliner has sagged to the point where I need to change it. The only information I can find anywhere on the Internet concerning the removal of the panel is a brief description on this site from jelloslug over nine years ago. I have removed everything without breaking anything critical - I count this as a minor miracle - but am stumped by the overhead console. He said "The roof console snaps in; you remove the tan plastic piece first and then using a flat screwdriver you release the attachment clips on the leading edge." OK, I popped off the plastic panel, but I can't see any evidence of attachment clips (I presume leading edge means at the front of the car). Do I have to remove the clear panel covering the lights? And, if so, how to do this without breaking anything.
I must admit to finding working on the interior of the car - any car! - among one of the most frustrating things to do. As an added bonus, you feel particularly stupid when, after a couple of hours futzing about to no avail, the solution turns out to be remarkably simple.
Anyway, if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.
Thanks.
