Hello, all. My local BMW dealer wants very close to $800 to install new brake pads on my 2016 i3 Rex. Isn't that way high?

Dealers are always going to be high.

Brakes ought not be anything special vs. any other car. Talk to a local independent mechanic or shop with good customer reviews. I expect they will quote the job at half the price.

Thanks and I agree. $800 for new brake pads is extremely high. Gotta find a good independent shop.
