doing my hourly search for an i3 and found some used 2014 REX that would be within my budget.
Problem though is that when i look at the Carfax it is saying they are buybacks/lemon law.

Anything i should look out for or anything i need to ask about the car before going forward? or should I not even consider and continue my search?

i have been looking, but not finding the amazing deals others have been posting. So far i'm only getting couple K off the MSRP. best i got was 3K off before the 2000 holiday cash.

Is there a way I can find the reason for the buyback? Just want to see if it was a buyback due to a real issue or just an buyer not knowing what they were buying.

A poster here said he closed last night in Macon, Ga., on a new 2015 for 15% off MSRP before the $7,500 rebate. That's about 350 miles from Mobile, with several L2 chargers en route in addition to a DC fast charger in Columbus. That'd be a fun road trip in an i3.

The deals are out there. I wouldn't waste time on a buyback.
