Buy i3 Rex in Germany for US?

Is it possible to buy the i3 Rex in Germany and bring it to the US? Then one would have a Rex that could charge the battery at will instead of only when the battery is depleted.

Essentially, no...The i3 in Europe uses a different plug in the vehicle (and probably protocol) for charging than the USA, and then, there would be subtle differences in the lights, and it would not meet US codes. Not sure if the bumpers are exactly the same, either. You cannot do Euro delivery with the i3 for those reasons, either.
