I'm looking for a 24 month lease and prefer a lump sum payment, but reading the boards it seems that might not be the best way to go. I've been offered a i3 Rex w/options and dest charge = $51,500. Offer is $14,500 drive off, no other payments 24 months/10K - is this even close to a good deal? From reading the boards it seems like some folks pay about this much and others as much as 4K less. I'm not versed in leases so need some good advice. Thanks!

Given you're in the Bay Area, i'm not sure if some of your motivation is to access the HOV lane. If so, you may want to check that there are enough hybrid (green) stickers available if you purchase today - you should be OK, but in the unlikely there were 15k hybrid eligible vehicles sold in Oct/Nov/Dec of 2014 then you're likely to miss out.

That being said, the $14,500 works out to around $600 per month for 24 months. Whats the final cap cost and money factor? I would guess given the 2015's are close, you would be able to get a pretty good reduction off MSRP for a REX model.
