Any good OBD Scanners for BMW i3?

Hey everyone!

I'm on the hunt for a solid OBD scanner for my BMW i3. Anyone out there got some experience with these bad boys?
I’d love any recommendations for something that’s both affordable and super user-friendly. Thanks a bunch!

I have tried out OBDLink MX+, and it does the job its supposed to for me.

BMW uses some proprietary diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) that aren't always described by generic OBD scanners.

The BimmerLink smartphone app does describe these proprietary DTC's but many of the descriptions are pretty brief and uninformative to me. It requires an OBD to either WiFi or Bluetooth adapter.
