AC Button light flickering

Noticed the little green light on the AC button was flickering. It stopped flickering after i pressed 'auto' button.

Does the flickering light suppose to indicate something ?

I had an issue with the AC button light flickering as well. It was due to a bad connection and I got it fixed under warranty. I think it is a common problem.
