Hi, I've been here for a few weeks already and introducing myself now as my car arrived today. I won't be able to drive it until next week when I have my provincial inspection booked. 2019 i3s REX and has I think all features but the sunroof. Also ordered a set of the OEM winter wheels with it. The dealership had told me over the phone that it has 2 keys but I'm concerned because I only see one and I didn't get the 2 keys in writing. It's got 45,000kms on it and appears to be in pretty good shape. First thing I did was wash it as it was just on a long train ride.

Fellow new-to-me 2019 i3S owner here, congrats on a great looking car! Jealous of the interior, I have the Tera trim level, so I'm missing the wood, leather, big screen, etc.

I see your winter wheels in the background, curious what the official BMW winter set-up is. Is it a square setup with 19 inch wheels all around? Or are the rear wheels wider because you have a REX?

It’s a square setup of 155 width tires all around on 19” rims. The i3s winter wheels have a different offset so that they are pushed out further. Same winter tires as the regular i3 though.

Gotcha. I found a set of 19x5 i3 wheels from a 2016 BEV on marketplace, and mounted the Blizzaks in the 155 width. I'm adding 15mm spacers to push them out a bit to get close to the same look as the original 20 inch wheels.

The trim level of kd7iwp's i3 is Tera World, the highest trim level, so yours must be the lowest and most common U.S. trim level, Deka World (dark gray cloth upholstery), or the second lowest trim level, Mega World (lighter gray cloth and synthetic leather upholstery), neither of which include wood dashboard trim which is included in Giga and Tera World trim levels.

The screen size is independent of the trim level. The larger screen is included with the U.S. Technology and Driving Assistant package that's an option with any trim level.

I was surprised to see that my car has Flat Tire Monitor instead of Tire Pressure Monitor. The winter wheels all came with TPMS sensors but I guess they don't do much for me :) Same with my E61, just has FTM. I don't think that's a Canadian thing but who knows.

Yup FTM is a Canadian thing... TPMS was not gov mandated here like it was in the US, so OEMs save some coin and strip it from our cars. But yes weirdly my winter set came with the full TPMS sensors too.

Where did you order spacers? Does it require longer lug bolts as well? Asking to see whether this would work on a standard i3, as the winter cornering (on dry roads even) tends to be a bit trigger happy on the stability control (orange flashing light).
