Seems like you've reported the Guess-o-Meter range estimate which is based on recent driving conditions, temperature, and other factors we don't know about. This estimate can be very inaccurate, so actual range is what matters. Has your actual range dropped significantly?110Commuter said:I trusted them and drove off only to discover that my car had a maxed-out charge of 61 miles!!!
Isn't the E.P.A. rated range for a 60 Ah REx 72 miles? Driving conditions could easily reduce the predicted range to 61 miles.
Your battery pack's usable capacity is your actual range divided by your recent EV driving efficiency in mi/kWh which is available in iDrive. For example, if your actual driving range were 61 miles from full to empty and your recent EV driving efficiency were 3.5 mi/kWh, your battery pack's usable capacity would be 61 mi / 3.5 mi/kWh = 17.4 kWh. Your battery pack's usable capacity when new was ~18.8 kWh, so that would indicate degradation of (18.8 - 17.4) / 18.8 = ~7%.
