Even here in expensive Bay Area, dealer price to replace 12V battery was about $450. Since that needs to be done anyway, maybe try that and see if that lets the car work. Alternatively, perhaps swap to a newer model used i3?

Are you by any chance still under warranty? I just had this issue on my non sun roof ‘20 i3. Since the car was about 3.5 years from in service date, it was replaced under warranty.

Have you tried an EVGo fast charger like the ones at Fred Meyer on 148th Ave NE? Down here in the Bay Area, fast chargers are usually EVGo, and I use the evgo app, but the Chargepoint app is supposed to work with them too. I found out the hard way that my 20 i3 can’t signal the charging machine...

Do you have a link to info about your vinyl roof wrap?

Isn't there a separate "navigation entertainment and communications" manual? Looking at the i3 parts lists on BMW parts web sites, there's an owners manual and then that second manual.
