Agreed - I wouldn't upload a copy of my ID either.

BMW I3 -Most Dangerious Steering Of Any Car I've Owned!

The big question is why do you still own/drive what you consider to be such a flawed car?

The "whoop-whoop" is making me crazy!

As is this forum, with ads/cookies/etc....but the anti-FB crowd ignores that aspect of this "free" site.

The "whoop-whoop" is making me crazy!

You don't have to give Facebook your info, just make something up. It is open to all, just like this forum. Aside from that, the majority of "contributors" seem to prefer sharing on the Facebook group vs elsewhere, so that's where the info is. I wish all of the info and discussion shared there...

The "whoop-whoop" is making me crazy!

It's a waste of time to suggest this to some of the members here - they're convinced that it's not worth it. Of course, then you find them here asking things like "What is a PUMA number?", which is documented in the jargon guide in the Facebook group.

Anyone leasing with 15K or more annual miles?

I don't have the 30 month numbers, but for 24 months the residuals are 60/62/63% for 15/12/10K respectively. You can pre-pay any extra miles, at any point before you turn your car in, for $0.16/mile. http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/FinancialServices/mileage_adjustment_program.aspx

BMW I3 -Most Dangerious Steering Of Any Car I've Owned!

Building and owning race cars is not the same as driving them on track, and definitely not the same as racing them. I have a hard time believing anyone who has actually raced wheel to wheel would make statements suggesting that the i3 steering is dangerous.

    CHADEMO adapter for i3?

They've often mentioned conclusions drawn from the trial cars, especially when justifying the sub-100 mile EPA range of the i3. One side note - neither of the trial cars had DCFC capability.

    CHADEMO adapter

The model number is specified in the press release: FC50K-CC-S. In addition, they've already gone with dual-standard units at their CA and Atlanta area dealers.

Door reflectors falling out; airco fails

Well it's more like $20: http://www.jakesweeneybmwparts.com/p/BMW_2013_i3-RexAutomatic/Cover--cowl-with-reflector/59771513/51417322094.html ...Which still seems high, but it's not quite as bad as $40. Be careful with some dealer parts prices, as they're often happy to mark them up by 100%...

    CHADEMO adapter

That is not correct - Kia will be installing several dual-standard DCFCs at some of their dealer locations. The specific ones are listed in the press release. http://insideevs.com/kia-charges-up-for-soul-ev-launch-in-washington-oregon/

Leftover i3s lease for <$100/mo to employees

Be sure to throw down the federal $7500 rebate check with the keys, since they likely "flexed" that amount to get you down to the low payment.

    Air Conditioning

The i3 is very often a same-day fix at our local dealer (for example, the KLE update - typically done same day). If I were you, I would check with a few other dealers.

Seriously starting to dislike the i3-please skip if disagree

Hold down either of the buttons that adjust the following distance - this will cancel ACC and revert to "standard" cruise.

What's a good lease price on this i3?

New. Are you set on white, or do you have a couple of alternate colors that are acceptable?

What's a good lease price on this i3?

$3,875 discount off MSRP on a 2015 isn't bad, but you could get closer to $10K off (or more) on a 2014.

What's a good lease price on this i3?

Yes, Greg can search dealer inventory nationally, including cars that are still at the port - any dealer can do this, although many won't. I've never bought a car from Greg, but he has been very helpful with some of my pricing research over the years, so I would recommend contacting him as well.

Recent lease deal that I signed

No, as long as you confirm that the 2014 has the appropriate options. Heated seats, DCFC, and satellite radio are standard on 2015s - so a 2014 Mega will not include satellite radio (although the hardware is there, just requires an additional fee to enable).

Recent lease deal that I signed

    2014 vs 2015.
