Hi,
My 2018 i3 has a loose window on the passenger side of the front door. Therefore it is not seated against the top of the seal, causing mainly wind noise. It has nothing to do with resetting the top / bottom position of the actuator, but with a loose adjustment nut (the thing that looks like a sprocket) in the clamping mechanism. The actual window glass has a range of adjustment, that mechanism came loose.
Has anyone been able to adjust the window and tighten the nut (sprocket) without disassembling the inner door panel? I have seen professional doing it by removing the outer window weather strip on the top of the door and use a hook wrench. But that was on other non-i3 frameless BMW’s.
Greetings from Amsterdam,
Martin
