If you check out the link to the photos, you can see that the frunk/hood and rear spoiler are still black. I painted just the carbon fiber roof, not the thermoplastic parts.
Frunk, yes. Hatch glass might not work so well. Paint might not adhere so well to glass plus there would need to be a nicely-shaped paint edge around the taillights.i3Houston said:

The roof is carbon fiber with a clear coat on top. I chose a body shop with carbon fiber experience.
The rear spoiler and frunk are, I believe, thermoplastic with the color all the way through the part. I did not inquire about painting them.
I do like the black & white balance better now with the white top. But biggest reason was to be cooler in the summer.
I was told to wax the painted top to extend it’s lifespan (I plan to keep the car till I wear out).
