What Qualifies an i3 for BMW warranty

Looking at a 2021 i3. But not sold at a bmw dealer. I want the bmw warranty
What do I need to look out for?

In the US I believe the basic warranty lasts 4 years or 50k miles from 1st purchase date. If still within those limits, any authorized BMW dealer can sell you an “official” extended warranty which will have more exclusions than the basic warranty. Some dealers advertise this online, offering substantial savings. The dealer cost for the warranty is about 50% of the list price, so dealers can lower the price substantially and still make money on it.
