Snow has arrived abundantly here in Michigan - and I finally got stuck for the first time with my i3!
I have the winter tire set on the car and had no issues so far driving on icy roads and through moderate snow. Luckily I got stuck very close to my house in a residential street, in roughly 6 inches of snow. Once you are stuck, the controls of the car allow you only to turn the wheels very little, as long as they have no grip, probably to protect the electric motor from damage - even if you push the accelerator hard.
In the end, the high-tech i3 had to meet with the low-tech snow shovel, and I shoveled the car out. After some back and forth, I made it into my driveway.
Did anybody have similar experiences yet?
