Small item storage solutions?

Does any have any suggestions for securing things like glasses, keys, etc. in front of the screen on the dashboard? Everything we put into it now sort of slides and rattles around to such an extent that we keep it empty. Are there any good ways to keep small things in place AND keep them quiet?

Is the glovebox cover solid wood? If so, I wonder if I could have it CNC routed out into compartments? I could even add holders for a couple pairs of glasses..... I did read about someone who added the wood lid to his Mega, but I cannot recall how much it cost.

A quick search on Amazon gives you plenty of choice, I take it you mean in the recess below the nav screen? I sure you can find something that will cut to fit. I cannot recall if the i3 has a coin holder for change?
