I have recently purchased a 2019s Rex and immediately new I would need to be able to manually turn the Rex on.
After buying BimmerCode and ENET WIFI adaptor and looking on the forum for what expert code to use: REX_Enable… it does not exist as a choice! I only have German choices and anything that looks similar only has values to alter vs. enabling or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

I have a BEV thus no experience adding the REx menu to iDrive. However, I'm pretty certain that this is a standard mode feature of BimmerCode so that expert mode isn't needed to make this change.

I believe It used to be, but now buried in expert mode, and don’t know where. I think it is based on different verbiage dependent upon software update (which mine would be the latest provided update).

Hmmm, I bought a 2019 i3S REx a few months ago and it was a piece of cake to enable the Range Extender menu via BimmerCode and did not go into expert settings.

The BimmerCode Website lists this among its standard mode i3 options:

Range Extender menu

Enable/disable the range extender menu that includes the “Hold state of charge” option.

Values:
• Active
• Not active

Requirements:
• “Headunit” HU_NBT or “Headunit” HU_NBT_EVO control unit"

Does BimmerCode list the head unit module? It might not when an i3's integration level and BimmerCode's downloaded data are partially incompatible. I've noticed that rather than BimmerCode's version being updated, it now occasionally displays a message asking permission to download new data.
