Plastidip...?

Hi there

Has anyone applied Plastidip on their stock BMW wheels? Or maybe even the entire car?

I kind of dig the matte black/grey style... and think it could be awesome to "dip" the car and wheels.

Hi!!

I've just bought "Car Dip" that's more or less the same that Plastidip but it's an English brand. The material is gonna arrive between tomorrow and Friday, so maybe this weekend I'm gonna apply it to my 427 wheels. I don't like these wheels, but for some reasons i had to buy the car with it, so my idea is to hide the wheels with the same black color of the tyres. I will let yo know how it goes as soon as i do it!!

Are you referring to the Mega World wheels? I have them, and think they look good. All black might be too much.

Yes, I'm thing in USA are the Mega World wheels (I'm from Barcelona, Europe, and we have different options and names for the extras of the car). I've just plastidiped it today and by the moment i think they look grate for me, maybe when i have photos of the whole car with the wheels i will make a post!

Coating the wheels used with winter tires might be a useful option...it might help keep corrosion down.
