Heading east on M4 yesterday and exited a very wet and rainy jct 15. Stopped at the lights before turning left, which is a big long left handed sweeper onto a dual carriage way.

As I was nearly home I lost a few acceleration stars as the light went green and (wrecklessley) kept my boot in on the wet corner.

Yes the back end will let go under power! Lovely quick steering (and a quick thinking BMW computer) stopped the moment in its tracks and I carried on down the road feeling like a daft teenager.

Must say it was all quite quick, however not too snappy and with the quick steering (weirdly reminds me of my old triumph spitfire) I think I would have avoided a spin ;)

Definitely much more progressive than my smart car which was brutal when it let go.

Sounds like you had a bit of unexpected fun although short lived! I've found that it is quite hard to get the rear end loose when the traction control is ON. I've noticed the little bugger will apply braking when I turn in (not aggressively mind you) when no braking is required. I don't like this but I understand why they have programmed it this way.

We need an "M" button to desensitize the DSC! ;)

Ha ha! Give me an M button!
I've had a really quick mess around in our field with the traction turned down, you can spin the wheels up no problem ;) but it does still retain some control, I'll maybe have a proper play this weekend and put up a film.

If you do a movie let me have the link. I will post on my i3 owner youtube play list. .. Thanks. .
