Hey i3 peeps. Just purchased a 2016 i3 fluid black terra with all packages. It has been a huge change for me as I just traded in my Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Hoping to learn more from this forum and intelligently add to it.

It's a whole different way of driving. I had a 2000 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, that car was a lot of fun.

As you've probably figured out the i3 is not a highway machine, much nicer around town than down the freeway. But the torque and acceleration is nice. There is a lot of information in these forums, and then the usual speculation and whining! Like all cars the i3 has its pluses and minuses; there are always areas where the manufacturer could do better and many of the BMW dealers have not quite embraced the i3, it's kind of a step child. YMMV!

That is quite amusing that lots of people are coming from Porsche and switch to this car.

I don't have mine yet (time, please, go f**** faster !), but during the 2 last years of looking for a new car, I almost put my hand on a 2007 911 Carrera 4S. That was a bit my dream car.... then I tested an i3

Hi, im also a new member, I love my i3 also, if I knew how to insert pictures I'd share my new range. 103 this morning, on comfort! I commute to Birmingham everyday from Wolverhampton in the UK.

Ive found setting the ac to 21C when you switch off works a treat for range as you charge it up.
