Is the maintenance plan worth $600?

Welcome to BMW pricing :)
I would say it depends on how badly you want to save a couple hundred bucks every two years? Yes, their prices are high, but it’s a one stop shop, and I think, more importantly: do you trust them to do the work right?
I have found a BMW service center that seems to actually be experienced with the i3 and they send a short inspection video where they go over key components, filming the underside of the car as they go. I do have to fend them off trying to get me to come in annually, even though BMW scheduled maintenance is on a two-year interval. YMMV.

Changing the cabin filters is awkward, but can be done. I did it last month in about 15 minutes. It's in a strange place and difficult to get the old filters out and insert the new filters. They almost appear to be too small to fit! But a little wiggle and they eventually were set. I was told they charge over $230 at the dealer to change a cabin filter. I bought it for less than $20 USD on Amazon.
