Hey everyone,
Have a weird issue on my i3 with the Acoustic Pedestrian Warning sound coming and going. First happened yesterday when after 30 minutes of driving, the APW malfunction message came up as I was entering a low speed area and I noticed there was no warning sound coming from the front of the car. This persisted for the remainder of the drive but when I got back into the car an hour and a half later the warning was gone and I had sound coming from the front.
Today, I get in the car and the message is back and I have no warning sound in the front. Though, I still have the sound coming from the back when I am reversing.
Anyone dealt with this before or have an idea on what it could be? Yes, I did check to make sure I had APW activated in the vehicle menu.
