Charge cycle stops about 1 hour into a charge issue

Hi,
I have a 2015 i3, had it nerly 2 years.
The last few weeks i`ve been having intermittant charge issues where the car doesnt complete a full charge cycle.
This happens at home on my ohme charge pointy and at work.
About 1 hour ito the charge, the charge stops for unknown reason.
This can be a pain as I tend to charge overnight, and when i then go to use it to go to work, there isnt enough charge to do the journey.

My brother owns a nissan leaf and he uses leafspy to interrogate the ecu and to check the battery condition, individual cell voltages etc... and search for any error codes, all with a bluetooth dongle and phone.

Coukld I be having a cell issue getting hot then stopping the charge session?

Is there anything on the market like leafspy for the i3?
