Normally by this stage in the game BMW's "concepts" would be nothing more than production cars in lurid colours with enormous wheels but I think with the i3 things are different.Spin said:I see no glove box access. Is there a glove box and where? My wife needs to know this. j
OK the Coupe Concept is basically an i3 without rear coach doors BUT pretty much every element has been "sexed up" to get the world interested in the concept (excuse the pun). For example the thickness of the upper door pillars is much thinner in the concept compared than the production car and certainly the seats wont have those butterfly wings on them (we’ve seen the standard non electric seats already)
Why is this important? Well the interior of the concept hasn't got a glove box - but if we compare the Concepts dashboard vs. the spy shots of the production car whilst they look similar they are not identical.
So I would imagine that in the area to the right (cream leather) there will be a drop down glove box - somewhere at least to store the handbook. See link at the bottom
