I wanted to share my solution for seat covers that I'm pretty happy with. I know I'm not the only one having trouble keeping their seats from looking terrible the moment they get wet. The water spots are annoying enough, but they also seem to be magnets for sweat and dark dye coming off pants and I don't have the time to keep treating them every week.
I didn't trust generic seat covers because of the unique shaped seats (and no separate head rest), and I wasn't willing to spend $400+ for a set of custom i3 covers, so here's my solution from Amazon. Since the bottom of the seat is the biggest issue, I went with fake leather bottom covers that fit pretty well with the i3 seat shape. After 4 weeks of use, they're still staying firmly in place and don't really distract from the look of the interior. $52 for the front set and they're available in several patterns and colors, including this triangle pattern in gray.
