Hi all,
We've been thinking about a replacement for our BMW 118 recently and as it's our second car we thought electric might be the way to go! It's ostensibly my wife's car although due to an accident she's not been driving recently and when she does return to it she might need to use her left leg so one pedal driving is another key reason for looking at an i3s. My googling has brought me to this forum a number of times already so it seemed right to join now.
We're going for an extended test drive in a 120 i3s which is pretty well specc'ed tomorrow and the main thing I'll be looking at is how it feels on the local roads we drive (a mix of single and dual lane roads as well as some country roads we regularly travel on. Range is perhaps the biggest stumbling block for electric as my wife has range fear (and that's in a petrol car....) our other car is petrol so I'll just have to be prepared to use it a little more often if we're going further than about 60 miles each way!
Anyway the forum has answered a few of my questions already using google so I'll hopefully be able to add some value if/when we join the i3s clan!
