Ideas for protecting rear seats when folded

Hi all, just bought our i3...LOVE it...and want to protect it. Saw some great suggestions around cargo mats, but have only found one around a DIY solution for protecting the rear seats when they're folded (https://www.mybmwi3.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16499&p=61740&hilit=rear+seats+folded#p61740). We want to have something that'll protect the backs of the seats when they're folded, either one at a time, or both. We've got a toddler w/car seat and a dog who'll be frequenting this car.

Has anyone come up with any slick solutions? TIA!

Being a soon to be owner of an i3, my wife likes to work in the garden. She's been using every car we're owned to transport garden waste to the skip. So, now I've ordered https://www.automatten.nl/20,10524,74,12/Accessoires-Kofferbak-beschermdeken-Dexter/ (we're Dutch). I'm curious to see how it will fit the car. The same site, I'm sure other countries have similar sites, also sells a fitting boot liner.
