hello

i am new to this forum.

have searched several i3 forums and i hope this is the best one with 3000+ members.

anyway i have a question about the headroom in the back with the solar roof or non solar

i am 5"11 and when i sit in the back of the solar version ( dealer only got the solars )i almost touch the roof.
a little taller and you have to bent your neck.

is the non solar better?

I'm 6'2", and long-waisted, without the 'solar' (in the USA, it's called a sunroof), I fit with a moderate amount of clearance. Until recently, the USA has not had that option available, and I've not sat in one to compare them. BMW (and they are not alone) tends to show headroom for the 'plain' roof on all of their models, when in some markets, you can only buy it with a sunroof, making your first pass at possible candidates almost useless. It's a rare (it does happen sometimes) manufacturer's website that shows headroom both with and without the sunroof.

yes the sunroof
the just call the solar option haha.

mm cant seem to find any info about it! just the front headroom not the back seats

also got a lot more questions and now using the search function on this site! what i dont find i post in 1 topic i open soon.
