Hi, I own a I3 REX since 15 december 2014. I live in Belgium, did drive 209.000km in 10 years. My biggest trip has been from Brussels to Rome and back in may 2013: 1.500km+1.500km. And yes it is possible to drive endlessly. How to? We did put 3 jerrycans of 5 liter in de car. Beginning at 100% battery you can't start the REX only at 75% charge of the battery; in Europe!!! On a recent trip tot Hamburg in Germany, not being aware of diesel in some jerrycans we mixed gasoil with diesel and then the REX stops with a message! Not able to empty the gas tank we had to rent a car from Venlo in Holland to reach our goal in Hamburg last 3 january till 6 january 2025. I hope to continue several years with this nice car. I'm 86 and I enjoy the jewel from BMW. Maybe for some of you it isn't a jewel though. Yes, yes it is very STUPID to put diesel in a gasoline tank car. Stafke is telling it.
