How do I see the 'BLOB" - range prediction on my map?

I have seen photos of the expected range displayed on the GPS displayed as what others have call, 'The Blob'. When I zoom out on my GPS map I don't see that. How ??

Under map view, select 2D range view...

Perhaps my i3 doesn't have the correct navigation version as I don't seem to have the view 2D option in my GPS.

Make sure it's turned on!

From the map display:
Map Content [i+] icon @ bottom
Electric Range (2D)
-- > click to ensure an orange checkmark appears next to this icon

Then, as jadnasuanh indicated, make sure the map is in 3D mode from the display mode above the [i+] icon

Also, be sure the map is zoomed out sufficiently. If the car has a mostly charged battery, the range cloud won't appear if you're looking at the map from a "normal" level of zoom.
