Hold Charge Function on 2017 REX

I’m picking up my 2017 i3 REX on Monday and have to drive 225 miles to get it home. I checked the Owner’s Manual and could not see an option for “Hold Charge.” Can Bimmercode be used to turn this function on for the 2017 model? I saw a YouTube video that said Bimmercode worked only on 2016 and earlier models. Thanks for the help.
