I thought I'd mention this in a separate post: You'd never guess it from BWM literature, but the Function cargo cover flips around to be a rear seat cover. Only seat function reference is that it has "holes for seat belt use".

It's nowhere near as sturdy and well tailored as my 5-series back seat cover, but I'm down to one Newfy now and he just parks back there. This paucity of information equals that of the web description of the DC Fast charge $700 option--NOTHING except a picture of the BMW/Bosch charge station!

Come on guys; you might sell some more product if you told us what they do.

Is this an accessory or are you referring to the privacy cover that is over the trunk?

It is an accessory and it is supposedly water proof on one side and fabric on the other. Price on BMW site is $125.

Picture on the BMW site under i3 accessories.

Be careful posting prices. The BMW site requires you to specify your center (dealer) before showing the MSRP. However, change dealers and do not be too surprised that the MANUFACTURER'S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE (MSRP) is nothing more than the dealer selected price. In the Phoenix area, Chapman BMW and Scottsdale North BMW show different MSRP prices from the BMWUSA.com i3 accessories website on every item I checked.

I can't help that, you know it is what it is where you have to buy it. I have been finding prices much the same from site to site and there are only a handful of dealers that quote a different price than MSRP.

The price I posted is MSRP according to the dealer specific site I used.

Looks like BMW is paying attention. This problem is now fixed. On bmwusa.com, you see MSRP only before identifying a dealer, and no MSRP label on prices after identifying a dealer. Thank you, BMW!
