I am new to this forum as my employers DAS Technology Ltd are looking at the possibility of provide the BMW i3 as our company vehicle once our existing contract expires at the end of this year.

We are specialist electrical installers who are heavily involved in Renewable Technologies... so an EV seems the sensible option....

Hi Mark,

Thanks for joining the i3 forum however I have to tell you we don't allow advertising here. I'm going to allow this one post to remain because it's possible someone in your area is seeking a home charging solution other than what BMW is providing, but future posts like this that are specifically advertisements will be deleted.

If someone has had a particularly good or bad experience with an EVSE installer they are free to post about it, but we don't allow companies or individuals to promote their services directly.

The i3 is Type-2 at the car end. It is not compatible a tethered type-1 cable.

Too bad, as free is a good price.
