Dashboard screens intermittently dimming

Hi

Has anyone else had the brightness dimming on both screens at the same time?

This happens to my car on a daily basis, night or day, long or short periods..... Really annoying

Could it be that happens when you drive into say a tunnel or deeply shaded area? I'm not sure where the sensor is, but maybe you have something that is partly obscuring it. Course, it could be other things as well.

Were you using Navigation on the centre console? If so, try to use either Day or Night mode, rather than auto.

I encountered this before, when I drove down a road during early morning (low night) and moving in and out of tree shadow. But this only happened a few times before. The i3 is very sensitive to light condition and was switching between day and night mode. They need to fix the software .
